IBR-2-48-175-LI: Our line of pre-assembled battery racks are designed to meet the needs of system integrators and installers and provide the best of both worlds.
The OutBack Integrated Battery Rack system is a whole battery enclosure that incorporates all cell interconnects, cabling, and series string overcurrent protection and disconnects. Except for the batteries, which can be rapidly added and connected on the job site, all electrical connections are completed at the factory and delivered fully assembled, making the Integrated Battery Rack uniquely easy to select, order, and install. The new lithium-ion models have also been tested and listed to the ANSI/CAN/UL-9540 standard for Energy Storage Systems and Equipment.
The 2-shelf IBR-2 is designed to fit beneath an OutBack Radian inverter/charger to decrease system component “clutter” and maximize installation space. Unlike traditional steel racks or sheet-metal enclosures, the OutBack design is made of powder-coated aluminum, resulting in a cleaner appearance that can resist the harshest environments–all while weighing less than 90 pounds. Clear coverings on the racks allow for visual inspection of interior features while also offering additional protection.
