A 50% discharge is equal to 6 kilowatt-hours. 4 panels are required to charge this with 5 hours of sunlight. I’m not sure how much direct sunshine you’d receive from fixed panels where you live, but six panels might suffice.

The “Lite” model is less expensive, but it lacks a Digital Display and Arc Fault Protection. In addition, instead of the graphical display included on the original Classic controller, the Lite version of this controller contains an LED indication panel with Dip switches. As a result, I believe that the full-function machine is an excellent investment.
